We have returned from a whirlwind Italian vacation. It was more fun than anyone should be legally be able to experience. We survived 8 tasty days of gelato, the Euro, a nice steady stream of wine and European showers.
I will be posting 4 posts over the next four days:
1. Rome
2. Florence
3. Venice
4. European bloopers, out takes, and other hilarious adventures.
We are slowly adjusting back to normal life; our children beg for ice cream at breakfast and orange soda at lunch. They are sad when we tell them no. They demand to return to their grandparents house.
I am swimming in laundry, and feel like I'm not sure how to get started back in our "normal"
routine. I think I'll start by watching the 30 DVR'd shows inside my television. I detoxed from cell phones and facebook and reality TV while 4386 miles from home. I ended up liking that part, though I initially experienced DT's and cold sweats.
Return tomorrow readers and relive the journey with me.
Ciao.
