Update

Apparently when you are having twins, the pregnancy hormones are through the roof. I can definitely attest to this because I have been sick sick sick.

I can barely tolerate any kind of food. I've lost a bunch of weight (its normal) and poor Dan hasn't eaten any real food in weeks. I force myself to eat things and the thought of the next meal practically leaves me in tears. yuck. Whats worse is that I decide on something I think I can eat, Dan retrieves it and then I change my mind or it fails. What a pain!

So here is what I currently live off of:

and yesterday I discovered that the babies also really like:

AND, If you are in the area, stop by the house and grab Dan for some real food and a break from this high maintenance pregnant-with-twins woman.

Ahhh...what a yummy diet ;) So instead of coffee or smoothies it will have to be hanging out over gingerale and saltines! Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well, guess it's gotten worse, but they say it gets better after the first trimester! Maybe I can whip up some food and bring it over for Dan sometime and for you too of course except you probably wouldnt be interested. Luv you guys!!

I was HORRIBLY sick with Henry. Here are things that helped and have helped others I reccomended them to:

*keep a sleeve of crackers in your nightstand and before you even sit up eat a few crackers.
*don't let yourself get hungry. it is so much worse on an empty stomach. keep crackers with you and eat one every half hour or so eve if you aren't hungry.
*sour candies like fruity altoids or sour lifesavers. they dull your senses so other smells aren't overwhelming.
*yogi pregnancy tea.
*crystalized ginger

hang in there mama!

Poor thing!!! But wait, it does get better...later you will crave the most absurd things! Mine were 7-Eleven hotdogs with the fake onions, relish and mustard...oh, and canned green beans with Italian dressing...cold! My appetite didn't get right until after the birth. Just hang in there...it's soooo worth it!
