Flying Solo

This week Dan is traveling for his job. He is at a beach resort in Palm Beach, FL (tough life!) getting Yellow Dog's name out into the market in person. He is doing great so far, meeting lots of people and is current enjoying a cigar in the seaside cigar bar after a hard days work. He will then go to sleep in a huge fluffy hotel bed where no babies will awaken him in the middle of the night. I'm not bitter... really.

Anyway, I just wanted to comment about being along with my girls. It's honestly not bad. We were both worried about how it would go, but its turning out to be just fine.  My mom came to help with bedtime tonight which was AWESOME.  The day time has been fine too, just like normal- except Daddy does not walk in the door at 5:15 to cute babies with cereal all over their faces. It's actually a little empowering to be able to be independent with them.  I'm not saying I want to do it alone, but its really challenging with two infants and I'm getting it done!  Hopefully tomorrow is another good day, and one day closer to my love coming home.
